Alert! Monterey County

Monterey County is using a new platform for its emergency notifications. The Alert Monterey County system covers the entire county and all municipalities. Once you register you can choose the address you want to monitor to keep track of threats near your home. If you are already receiving Monterey County alerts on the previous platform, your preferences are already in the new system.

HERE ARE THE STEPS TO REGISTER AND RECEIVE EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS

Go to AlertMontereyCounty.org and select the “Click here to register” link in the Log in panel.

Once registered with Alert, you will receive critical public safety information during an emergency. When you have registered your contact information and one or more addresses, you will receive specific alerts and messages that are directed to your location in the Del Monte Forest.
